Now, for the first time, a brand-new range of Motor Control Gear Products from HYUNDAI is available in UK.

Raytel Controlgear Supplies Ltd are pleased to announce an exclusive deal with Hyundai Electro Electric Systems of Korea whereby the complete range of Hyundai control gear products will be available in UK. Hyundai Electro Electric Systems is part of the huge Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd group which manufacturers everything from Power Transformers and High Voltage Switchgear to Marine and Locomotive Equipment.

The new deal will mean that the Hyundai range of HiMC Contactors, Thermal Overload Relays and Electronic Digital Motor Protection Relays will be available immediately with the range of Moulded Case Circuit Breakers and Air Circuit Breakers following later in the year. All items in the range comply with International Standards and have UL, CE and ISO Approvals.

The products are well known throughout the world, especially in the USA where these products have done particualy well in a market where the stringent technical requirements mean that the product has to be first class. The main market in UK is seen with the large panel builders and systems integrators who are looking for the highest possible quality and worldwide back up but at a reasonable cost. In this field it will be very difficult to find a company more successful than Hyundai.

A new concept in Motor Protection is now available in the UK. The Hyundai HiMP Electronic Overload Relay is micro-processor controlled with real time processing and high precision. The basic functions are Over/Under Current, Stall/Locked Rotor, Phase Loss, Phase Unbalance and Phase Reversal. The Over Current function can be set for Inverse or Definite Time and there are optional functions of Earth Leakage and Short Circuit Current. HiMP can prevent a sudden over-current trip through the Preliminary Alert Function and the load is displayed by an easy to read bar-graph display.
Other functions available are Accumulated Operating Time, Three Phase Current indication and Fault Indication.
The overload is available as direct operation or operation via current transformers and the Display Module can be removed from the Control Module and mounted remotely via an interconnecting cable.
